At the Domaine de Dolomieu, nature does more than simply surround the estate, it shapes its very soul. The 20-hectare park, the centuries-old trees, the local wildlife and the changing seasons create a unique environment that we are committed to preserving. This legacy inspires us to take a responsible and practical approach. These commitments are lived out in a relaxed manner, without any pressure, always with the aim of improving, preserving, passing on and enabling everyone to enjoy the estate to the full.
Since 2026, the Domaine de Dolomieu has held "Clef Verte" certification, the leading international certification for sustainable tourism. This label recognises establishments that are committed to managing their resources more responsibly. In practice, this means paying particular attention to water and energy consumption, reducing waste, and continuously improving internal practices.
We also encourage guests to adopt simple habits such as sensible use of towels, water-saving in the bathrooms, and limiting the amount of laundry. These are all measures that in no way compromise the comfort of your stay, but which collectively help to reduce our environmental footprint.

Our aim is simple: to enable everyone to enjoy the Domaine de Dolomieu in comfort and style, while helping to preserve this exceptional setting for future generations.
The estate’s grounds form a veritable ecosystem, providing a natural habitat for birds, insects and wildlife. This biodiversity inspires a more harmonious relationship with the environment, promoting sustainable management of green spaces, respect for natural cycles, observation of species and preservation of local flora.
The presence of beehives on the property is part of this approach. The hives promote pollination, help maintain the park’s ecological balance and strengthen the connection with the surrounding countryside. Their presence serves as a reminder that the estate is not an isolated space, but a place that is open to its surrounding natural environment and committed to preserving it.

The estate’s location in the heart of the Dauphiné region makes it an ideal starting point for cycling trips whether athletic or leisurely, for sightseeing purposes or for family outings. We are currently in the process of obtaining "Accueil Vélo" certification, which guarantees a cyclist-friendly welcome.
This involves providing dedicated facilities such as a secure storage area, equipment for inflating tyres or carrying out minor repairs, practical information, and a guide to the cycling routes around the estate. In this way, we encourage and invite our guests to explore the region in a different way, taking in unspoilt villages, valleys, forests and scenic routes.

Sustainability is never a static state but an ongoing journey, which is why we are gradually expanding our commitments and encouraging local partnerships, short supply chains, educational initiatives, careful selection of materials, reducing single-use plastics, energy savings, waste sorting, etc. All of these initiatives are concrete steps that enhance the quality of our hospitality whilst respecting the estate’s environment.
